In June of 2013 on our tour of the East Coast, all my youngest brother wanted to do was see things sports related. I thought that this couldn't be a more perfect location for him to see. I thought, "How COOL would it be for him to run up those stairs JUST like Rocky Balboa?" We took him to this museum and what a beautiful sight in Philadelphia it is to see! When we reached the museum, we had him run the stairs and do the same victory jump at the top! It was VERY cool to see him do that! Also while visiting the landmark, we noticed that there was a bronze Rocky statue at the bottom right of the stairs as well as feet prints at the top of the stairs. Once you reach the top of the stairs and turn around to see the views, you have an amazing view of Eakins Oval, the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, and Philadelphia City Hall.

Rocky Steps, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
It's the, eye of the tiger! Remember Sylvester Stallone in the movie Rocky (1976) running through the streets of Philadelphia and ending at The Philadelphia Art Museum? He runs up these stairs and does a victory jump at the top. Although he runs up the 72 steps to "Gonna Fly Now" and not actually "Eye of The Tiger", this location is still just as iconic no matter what music you have to go along with it!
