Bonnie and Clyde Getaway Car, Primm, Nevada

Hello friends! Forgive me for the lack of updates. I've actually been doing some traveling! A few weeks ago I was in Texas visiting some family, but I didn't get much of a chance to tour. Right now I'm in Las Vegas, Nevada!

Before I got to Vegas though, I stopped in this little town at the state line called Primm, Nevada. There's a few cool hotel/casinos, a shopping mall and a place where you can momentarily cross back into California to purchase lottery tickets!

However, that's not what I'm writing about today! There's a hidden gem in this little town and it lies at the hotel/casino called Whiskey Pete's. When you walk through the main casino doors, look directly to your left and you will see the REAL Bonnie and Clyde getaway car!! Yes! This is the authentic car!

Backstory: Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow were a couple of outlaws during the Depression Era who were notorious bank robbers. In May of 1934, they were ambushed by several lawmen in Louisiana. Killing them instantly, there are several bullet holes in the car as well as broken glass windows. Also on display with the car, is the actual shirt Clyde was wearing that day.

My brothers and I have always been fascinated by this car. Every time we went to Vegas, we begged our parents to  bring us here! Very fascinating and highly recommended for any mob-loving enthusiasts!
